Disclosure Pursuant to California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010
Sigma Designs, Inc. is committed to fair employment practices and to following applicable employment law wherever it has operations. To comply with the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010, the company is in the process of taking certain actions to address the law but has not completed some or all of the following:
- Engage in third party verification of product supply chains to evaluate and address risk of human trafficking and slavery.
- Conduct independent, unannounced audits of suppliers to evaluate supplier compliance with company standards for trafficking and slavery in supply chains.
- Require suppliers to certify that raw materials and services incorporated into the product comply with the laws regarding slavery and human trafficking of the country or countries in which they are doing business.
- Maintain internal accountability standards and procedures for employees or contractors failing to meet company standards regarding slavery and trafficking.
- Provide company employees and management training on human trafficking and slavery, particularly with respect to mitigating risks with the supply chains of products.
