The SMP8674 provides a highly-integrated, high-performance, low-cost solution for wireless display receivers. The Secure Media Processor architecture offers advanced content protection, supporting a wide variety of Digital Rights Management (DRM) and Conditional Access (CA) solutions.

Additional features over the SMP8670 include support for:

  • DDR3 memory support lowers BOM cost
  • H.264 1080p60 decoding
  • Two audio DSPs to support audio transcoding
