ARIB     The objectives of ARIB are to conduct investigation, research & development, and consultation of utilization of radio waves from the view of developing radio industries, and to promote realization and popularization of new radio systems in the field of telecommunications and broadcasting.
ATSC     The Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) is an international, non-profit organization developing voluntary standards for digital television. The ATSC member organizations represent the broadcast, broadcast equipment, motion picture, consumer electronics, computer, cable, satellite, and semiconductor industries.
AVS     Audio and Video Coding Standard Workgroup of China. In order to meet the requirement of information industry and realize the union of the native enterprises and research institutions, the role of the group is to establish (or edit) such general technical standards as the compression, decoding, processing, and the representation of digital audio-video and meanwhile provide the digital audio-video equipments and systems with high-efficient and economic coding/decoding technologies.
Broadband Forum     The Broadband Forum is the central organization driving broadband wireline solutions and empowering converged packet networks worldwide to better meet the needs of vendors, service providers, and their customers. HGI     The Home Gateway Initiative (HGI), founded in 2004 by nine telecom operators, is shaping the next generation of Internet and voice services. Starting from use-cases and service needs, the HGI sets requirements for Home Gateways, infrastructure devices, and the home network.
HomeGrid Forum     HomeGrid Forum is a global, non-profit trade group promoting the International Telecommunication Union's G.hn standardization efforts for next-generation home networking. HomeGrid promotes adoption of G.hn through technical and marketing efforts, addresses certification and interoperability of G.hn-compliant products, and cooperates with complementary industry alliances.
HomePlug Powerline Alliance     Founded in 2000, the HomePlug® Powerline Alliance is an industry-led initiative with more than 70 member companies that creates specifications and certification logo programs for using the powerlines for reliable home networking and Smart Grid applications.
HomePNA Alliance     HomePNA® is an incorporated, non-profit association of industry-leading companies working together to create, promote, and certify multimedia home networking technology that operates over existing coax cables and phone wires.
INCITS     INCITS is the primary U.S. focus of standardization in the field of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), encompassing storage, processing, transfer, display, management, organization, and retrieval of information. As such, INCITS also serves as ANSI's Technical Advisory Group for ISO/IEC Joint Technical Committee 1. JTC 1 is responsible for International standardization in the field of Information Technology.
