CopperGate’s Pablo Sandoval to Speak at Futurecom in Brazil
TEL AVIV, ISRAEL and NEWARK, CA–(Marketwire – October 6, 2009) – Today, CopperGate Communications Ltd., the
Everywire Home Networking Company™, announced that CopperGate Business
Development Director Pablo O. Sandoval will be a featured speaker at Futurecom
2009, which runs from October 13 through 16th in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
During his session, entitled, “HomePNA as a Broadband Access Technology:
Enabling Triple Play for MSOs,” Sandoval will show how CopperGate’s HomePNA
technology shines as a way for MSOs to cost-effectively deliver triple-play
services, especially in locations where legacy coax access technologies are
not suitable for broadband delivery distribution.
Sandoval will be joined by over 300 national and international speakers and
panelists, who will address cases and innovation in the telecom and IT
sectors, and approximately 15,000 participants in the telecommunications
and IT industries who will attend the conference.
Business Development Director Pablo Sandoval:
“Until now, the only access technology that MSOs have had in their ‘tool
kit’ was DOCSIS. During my session at Futurecom, MSOs will learn how
HomePNA technology eliminates the costly upgrades at the external plant
required with DOCSIS implementations. HomePNA technology is much more
affordable for small- to medium-size MSOs for delivering triple-play
“As part of my presentation, MSOs will learn how HomePNA is ideal for use
as an access technology when there is a huge area to cover with a low
density of users, MDU apartment complexes, residential closed communities,
and rural and suburban areas.”
